The Climate-Resilient Agriculture Group researches farming interventions that increase resilience to climate change, such as droughts or extreme weather events. This includes practices that promote soil health and biodiversity, and we are particularly interested in agroforestry due to its potential to provide environmental and production benefits at the same time.
We try to put farmers at the centre of our research projects, working with them to test their ideas and co-design solutions.
We are social-ecological researchers based in the School of Agriculture, Policy, and Development at the University of Reading.
